Almost a century of elegance and tradition in Taormina

The history of the Parisi family began in the twenties in the evocative setting of Taormina, a success that has been handed down for three generations. In the heart of one of the most famous cities in the world for charm and beauty, the family includes five stores dedicated to women's, men's, pret-à-porter, accessories, children's fashion and the world of denim, with a careful selection of the best brands of the luxury, made in Italy and international, but also the Ermenelgildo Zegna brand and the newly opened Serapian brand in addition to the refined Baronessa restaurant.

Creators of what can be called a "empire" the cav. Francesco Parisi and his sons Salvatore and Pancrazio who with great commitment, passion and professionalism managed to become the symbol of exclusive Taormina. A story of Parisi, full of anecdotes and events: it was in the Fifties that Salvatore Parisi, with a long experience gained between Palermo and Naples, transformed the open tailoring in the Twenties into a clothing store, on the main street of the "Pearl of the Ionian ”, Still the fulcrum of Sicilian elegance.

English nobles, actors, international VIPs, protagonists of the jet set, wealthy European gentlemen frequented the coveted tourist destination, in love with the taste and style made in Italy. And it is in this moment of great splendor that Parisi began to be the reference point of Taormina and in the following years to expand with the opening of new stores in which fashion is interpreted with taste and personality. A common thread that links all the family's activities recognizable by the soul and the ability to fit in harmoniously in the city context: from the Baronessa restaurant opened in 2003 in a famous nineteenth-century building where a Gattopardesque atmosphere is revealed with a breathtaking view of the gulf and on Etna at the recent opening of the 170 boutique.

A place where the spaces shaped by the architect Antonio Iraci in a fifteenth-century building blend into 400 square meters of refined elements: from the scenographic entrance to the hall with coffered ceilings to the veranda that overlooking the bay of Taormina and the Ancient Theater. The umpteenth milestone strongly desired by Franco, Salvatore and Pancrazio who invested so much, a lot, with tenacity, curiosity, commitment. And always with the elegance and grace that distinguishes certain Sicilians, noble-minded and solar by nature. Qualities that extend even to the staff almost 50 people professional but friendly and helpful. And all incredibly beautiful! "It will be that living in beauty helps"
